FU to my questions & a new one!!

In my last posts, I asked about carpet steaming and a close getaway for our one year anniversary.  Thank you to all the ladies that responded!  We ended up buying a Bissell and doing it ourselves.  And I booked an overnight stay at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor near Tampa.  We'll be going to Tarpon Springs next Saturday to have some Greek food then going to our hotel that night.  It's not Napa Valley, but it will be nice to get away from Winter Garden for a bit.

Now, a new question!  My poor little 99 Sentra will be needing some TLC soon, and I'm still too new to the area to have found a good mechanic.  Anyone have a recommendation for a reputable honest place that won't rip us off on car repairs?  Preferably in Winter Garden, but Clermont, Windermere, and Ocoee would be OK, too.  Thanks so much!!!!

  • Very cool!

What kind of work do you need done to your car? We have a very reliable and knowledgeable AC guy who will come to you and charges a 1/4 of the price! He has worked on my bosses AC unit and my brother in-laws! That's the only kind of mechanic I can recommend.

I just had my starter replaced, but it's one of those things where I don't have a mechanic I can trust here to take care of the overall car, no matter what goes wrong.  It's a safety net kind of thing.  So far my AC is fine - thank goodness and knock on wood!

Definitely let me know when you come up with it.  I think I know where you are talking about, though.
