So I'm sitting at my desk about an hour ago, when a co-worker comes running down the hall and says one of the stairwells is filling up with smoke. Pretty soon, the whole floor is filling up with smoke. So, the entire building (pretty decent sized building downtown) evacuates, all the floors are filling with smoke, very scary, etc. The source of the fire?
Someone in the dentists' office downstairs thought she would be clever and microwave her sweater to dry it off.
Nice.

Re: Wow... just wow...
wth? I don't suppose you work in SW -- a few blocks from Burnside?
I was heading home, up Burnside, and a slew of firetrucks & ambulances were headed that way.
My amateur photo blog
umm I can't believe someone would actually do that! LOL WOW!
If it was around lunch time, yes that was my building (we're on Yamhill).
What a fantastic use of our emergency resources, right?!
