Did the water ruin your dress at all? I'm thinking of going into a fountain or a pool or something, but I really don't want to totally ruin my dress.

Nope, in fact it helped get some of the dirt out of the hem!!!!
My dress is a polyester satin, so water is definitely not a big deal. If your dress is silk, I might skip it.
If you remember, MrsJayeTT ended up jumping in a pond/lake with hers during her TTD session, and she said the cleaners sent it back brand new. Her dress was a complicated tulle.
