Garage/Community sale?

I'm currently doing a huge overhaul of all my clothing. I'm wanting to get rid of at least 1/4 of it because I'm ready for some new stuff. Last summer I started collecting various things from inside the house, attic, and garage that I want to get rid of also.

I have a ton of stuff and had originally thought I'd take it all to Goodwill, but there's just so much and I'd like to get some money out of it. Most of the clothing is namebrand and gently used so it seems like such a waste. I understand that I won't get a ton of $$ but it'd be nice to get a little and use that to buy some new stuff.

My mom used to have a garage sale every few years when we lived in a neighborhood. Now we're in the country and it's not so easy to do.

Any suggestions on community garage sales or something similar where I could take this stuff? I've heard of places that allow you to set up an area in a community center or building...but I have no idea where they have these.
(I'm on the west/northwest side).
I've taken clothing to plato's closet before, but it's pretty hit or miss and it can be a hassle if only a few things are bought.
