Hurrah it's launch day!!!

Here's hoping we launch today! God speed STS-125! For those of you who don't know the launch is scheduled today at 2:01pm, but it can launch as late as 2:43pm. Everyone in the CFL area should be able to see it go up and I know most of the radio/tv stations around here are covering it pretty closely. Hopefully the weather turns out to be clear in Spain (emergency landing location) and we have a beautiful launch from KSC today!

I'm pissed! I have a meeting scheduled for 2 and I am no where near the southside of my building darn Bostonians who have no clue about shuttle launches! lol...

It launched, but I couldn't see it from our usual spot.. did it go in a different direction this time?

We couldn't see it either. ?The clouds blocked everything.

My daughter and I got to see it from our house!!  She loved it!

I took my students outside to watch, and the clouds were obstructing our view.    Darn you clouds, if you're going to be around, can't you at least dump some rain on us?

I watched it from the stairs at the LCC, it was amazing!

Yeah the clouds were pretty bad yesterday. I could barely see the SRMs fall off and we normally have a great view at the cape. Here's hoping the next launch will be on a cloud free day.
