Two*True

I have a question about the OP strips you use...  Do the lines always get as dark as the control?  I've read in the reviews that they rarely get as dark as the control and that insem should be done any time a line appears, even if it isn't as dark as the control.

I'm interested in buying the strips but don't want to miss a possible insem because I'm unsure.

 TIA!

Re: Two*True

  • No - an insem should not be done anytime a line appears.  The strips come with a great 'how-to' manuel.  An OPK is only considered positive if the test line is equal to or darker than the test line (at least with the brand I bought).  My positive results were very clear and easy to determine.  If you are worried you could always use basic strips for monitoring and then double check the positive result with a digital.
