Re: Anyone been to 3rd Mondays - McKinney?
I've been there- I really enjoyed it! I liked that you were able to walk around the entire thing in about three hours. It wasn't a whole days event like Canton is. One big difference between Canton and McKinney Trade Days (besides the size), is that McKinney doesn't have a lot of the "real" boutiques like Canton does (like the ones under the Pavillion). It's more flea market style! But I like it! I think it is def something to check out! I plan on going this weekend! Beware of the adorable puppies- we almost came home with dog #2.
Most people hate shopping through flea markets- so I could see why a lot of people wouldn't enjoy the McKinney Trade Days. But if you are looking for little random trinkets and antiques, then I think it's a good place to look. Another place that I highly recommend is Downtown McKinney. They have some of the most adorable antique, shabby chic and vintage shops. IMO, it's the best in the Dallas area. Some of the shops are kind of spendy, but some of them have great aren't. Maybe you could try there too!
