I have been pretty fortunate with Joey besides a few growth spurts when he was nursing that made me a little nuts with him being on my boobie for 3 days at a clip. However, recently he is giving me a big problem with his formula. Joey is barely getting 12 oz a day. I am concerned and have called the Dr. but he is out of the office. Did you girls go through this?
Re: Feeding a 7 months old
I just wanted to respond and say that I did not go through this -- but there have been times when Will has had a stomach bug where he doesn't want his solids or doesn't seem hungry at all. It only lasts for a couple of days though.
I guess the biggest concern would be to keep him hydrated. Does the doctor's office have a nurse you can speak with for ideas?
How long has he been on this formula? Does he arch his back or cry when eating or does he just not finish it?
I got to talk to the Pedi yesterday day and suggest that he might not like the taste anymore or might not want the bottle anymore. He said he is that concerned because he is still getting 12 oz and is eating like a champ. He suggested I trying changing his formula to Nestle Good Start 2. Thanks for the suggestions.
