not sure if you had noticed, but for the crib (that we got at Ellen) the espresso one is now avialable!!! :-) Not sure if you have been trying or not???
Re: Sharra
I am still so undecided....I mean i am glad that i didn't just get the white one, but then again i have no idea if i want the espesso one...as my nursery ideas are not final......and the hubby is no help in this department!!!!
I feel white i might be cleaning ALL the time, but espresso, you would be able to see nicks and stuff pretty easily!!!
Ok here are my reasons for choosing espresso over white.
White screams "kid furniture" to me. And while that may be fine for a nursery, this is a "lifetime" crib that can eventually be used as a full size headboard. I just don't think white furniture is as easy to find/maintain/looks good in a pre-teen/teenager bedroom. That being said, I do like the look of white nursery furniture.
I have cherry colored furniture for Eric, and his crib does not have one ding/scratch (at least that I've noticed). Then again, Eric has never bit his crib. I know some babies do that while teething. I realize espresso and cherry are different colors, but they're both pretty dark.
Anyways, that's just what I based my decision off of.
LOL!!!
Yeah, I saw that this morning... but I'm still waiting for the expresso...
Shannon, we are selling our crib, if you would be interested in the expresso or white, let me know!
