Where are you looking -- in the Stamford area? If you are interested in looking in Trumbull ... we are putting our house on the market within the next few days for slightly over your price range (not sure of exact price ... meeting with realtor tonight). And it's not a handyman's special and doesn't need any immediate work (new carpets, refinished hardwoods, and newer interior paint). It's also in a GREAT neighborhood for young couples and those with small kids. We love it, but we are just looking for a little more space. It's 3 bedroom dormered cape .... just in case you were interested!
House hunting is very discouraging sometimes -- esp. in this market where you'd think you can get a steal!
