there must be some lurkers who don't like me and are sending anti-Fusion vibes for me. LOL In the past 24 hours, 2 of the cars I WAS SERIOUSLY interested in have sold out from under me (one just had the deal go through but wasn't delivered yet; the second had a pending offer on it with delivery of tomorrow.)
Apparently EVERYONE wants the same car I do. So I'm going to have to compromise.
Has anyone had a dog with leather seats? MH's scared the upholstery will get ruined, even though we ALWAYS cover the back seat when Xena's in the car.
Re: I think
We have a leather couch that gets scratched up pretty easily with the dogs. I don't like leather for the following reasons:
Burns the crap out of your legs in the summer when you have shorts on
It's very stiff and uncomfortable until it's broken in
It's expensive to fix if you were to say tear it in some way
When it gets worn out it looks bad all cracked
I prefer dark cloth upholstery personally, but leather is nice to keep clean.
I prefer leather.
They make these armor all leather wipes which keep mosture in the leather to avoid cracks. ?Plus, it helps to make is softer quicker. ?
I've been "burnt" before when I've gotten in my car but it's never really THAT bad, IMO. ?
That being said, I've never had a dog on my leather!?
This is what I was thinking - for clean up, I could wipe off the dog fur with leather wipes instead of Greg vacuuming for an hour to remove dog fur from the seat. If it was dark leather, it'd be a no brainer - I probably wouldn't even consider it. But it's a camel/gray color and looks pretty sweet. LOL
We'll see. Those of you that like me, please do me a favor and send me enough good vibes to counteract the vibes of those people who DON'T like me. LOL TIA!
Louie isn't big enough to make a fair comparison for you, plus he sits in a carseat. Like Mandy, I prefer the leather seats.
I'm really sorry those two cars were snapped up. Sending vibes that this one works out.

I love my leather seats, I wouldn't have anything else. Sydney hasn't so much as made a dent in the leather.
Also, for if/when you have kids it makes cleaning up after them a lot easier, Cate threw up all over my backseat, it took just wiping it down vs. having to have the seats cleaned. And now if she happens to spill her milk, it wipes off vs. sinking it and smelling out the car.
