The KY board seems pretty slow, sadly.

I am in Louisville and would love to connect w/ some local nesties.  It would be great to hear what everyone has planned for summer fun or whatever.

yes, this board is very slow!  we're heading to myrtle beach for memorial day wk w/ 2 other families.  should be fun.  maybe.  it's our 1st vaca w/ kids so it'll be a different kind of fun   are you from L'ville?  do you have kids?  what do you do?  i'm a SAHM, just had my first baby and am looking forward to this summer!

Yes, I am from Louisville.  I have a 10 y/o daughter and a 14 y/o stepdaughter.  I am a School Social Worker for the school system.

I am also heading to SC over the summer, but to Hilton Head.

Have you always lived in Louisville?  Congratulations on becoming a Mom!

I am in Louisville.

 This summer we are planning on making small weekend trips instead of extended vacations. Our first trip will be just to Indianapolis for Memorial Day weekend, then Pittsburgh in June, Deleware in July (for a family event), and a couple of trips to Dale Hollow Lake in TN.

Those all sound like great trips.  I have never been to Delaware, is there a particular place that you go?

Are you from Louisville?  Are you a SAHM or do you work outside the home?

My aunt and uncle have a house near Bethany Beach in DE. We go there sometimes for family get-togethers. This time we are celebrating the baptism of my godson. I don't have any children yet. My husband and I are going to wait a couple of years before we start trying. I want kids badly, but I am trying to get a nursing degree. I need to finish that before I have kids.

Hello! I'm glad you posted this so we can connect a bit! I live in Louisville but I am fairly new to the area. I moved here almost a year ago and love it! As far as summer plans, I am getting married soon (about 3 weeks) so that will be my big plan for this year. I also plan on exploring the Louisville area again now that its nice and warm!

Hi, I'm in the Lexington area, but we're in Louisville on Sundays most weeks. We're going to TX for DH's SD's graduation June 4-7. Then to Chicago July 11-13. Not sure after that. If anyone wants to exchange emails, you can PM me. I'd love to hear from some local ladies!

Hi.  I'm in Louisville too.  I'm new to the boards here though.  We are looking for another short trip to take in August for a few days.  In the meantime we are planning to attend some free outdoor concerts, festivals and bbqs etc.

HI! I am in Louisville. I have a 4 mo baby boy. I just started a side business called Flirt. We do custom thumb print charms in silver. Other then participating in some art fairs we will just enjoy Louisville with the baby this summer. Hitting Turtle Run this weekend to hear some jazz.
