It was a lot better before.  Then there was a two week period where the thing was slower than snot.  Then we had a problem with a couple of crazies, who were booted but now have multiple AE's, meaning that everyone is hesitant to post.  Then they changed the format, and now the knotties hate us.  So things have definitely slowed down.

I think a lot of them post on their own google group now. At least, that's what I thought I read on theknot.

for some reason I barely go to the regular nest boards. I usually look to see if there's anything on theknot that I feel like answering and then go to the baby boards. Not that I really had a group from Chicago that I normally talked to. I was more into the July 07 knotties. I think I'm hesitant to post here just to stay out of the crap the crazies post.

It really doesn't help any that it takes 33 minutes to load a page half the time.

i love the board, but I just dont have the patience to type something and then wait 3 minutes for the letters to pop up on the screen...

you know kermie - not to beat a dead horse, but I'm on a very slow dsl connection, and with FF - my pages load a little quicker than that!  But I really feel the burn of my slow connection on GG.
