My stupid iPhone is on the fritz. The screen is just completely out. It worked fine this morning, but sometime around 7:00 it just went dark and won't come back on. The phone itself works (rings and stuff) I just can't see anything. I haven't dropped it or done anything like that to it.
My question is, do I take it to an AT&T store or to the Apple store? Who'd be able to help me with it more? I need to get it taken care of today because we're trying to negotiate the deal on our house and I can't NOT have my phone/email readily available!!
Re: iPhone question
You've had so much trouble with that phone. I loved mine, although it had issues a few times. I think you need to go to the apple store and tell them all your problems and see if they can't get you a new phone.?
I was bummed that we were told we could use ours here in Japan, and now that we are here we find out they are locked. We had to get new Japanese cell phones that we have no clue how to really use. Plus, it is expensice to do anything extra on them. We can call each other, and that's about it. I miss all the apps and fancy stuff on my iphone. ?
It is your preference, but from my experience the people at the AT&T store can't really do much, and would end up sending it (or having you send it) to apple. I think going to the apple store would be more helpful, personally. That's what I was going to do w/ mine, but there isn't an apple store in Abilene, and by the time I got down to Austin or Houston where there is one, my phone was working again, and we were leaving in a few weeks anyway, so I never bothered. ?
