I am so excited! I am walking a wedding in a month and I bought a dress one size too small just so that I motivated myself to lose weight. Today I tried it on and fit! YAY

No really what helped me was chaning my eating habits. I start off the day with some high fiber cereal and greek yougurt. I make sure I eat snacks (apples, cheese slice) during the day. It keeps me fuller so I dont munch on crap and for dinner I am not starving.
My aunt sent me a recipe for this smoothie she drinks every morning for breakfast and dinner. I think I might try as a morning energy boost.
Here is what she puts in one of them
1cup water
1/2 carrot
2spoonfulls of crushed pineapple (from can)
1/2 apple with skin on
2 halves of a pear (from can)
2 small pieces of avacado
6-8 slices of cucumber
1/2 banana
blend it all in a blender and drink it as a morning shake. Sounds pretty good huh? and healthy.
I think I have lost a couple of pounds, since I have been watching my portion sizes.

Congrats! That's awesome. I'm starting to be more aware of how many carbs, sugar, and salt I eat during the day.
Eating on smaller plates has helped me so much. Also, I've started putting a piece of fruit with my dinner plate, so I have a health dessert. This has kept me out of the cookie/candie jar that I always go to after dinner.
