Rides for small toddlers at Disneyland?

I have a free hopper ticket that is going to expire soon so we're planning a trip there w/ DD (1 yrs old).  I haven't been there for awhile so does anyone know if there are any rides for small toddlers?

Re: Rides for small toddlers at Disneyland?

  • My son loved it's a small world , tea cups, dumbo, even pirates. I would start with the rides that are well lit see how he does and then try the darker rides. If you can go during the week before school gets out the park is not busy at all and you don't have to deal with the long lines.
  • In addition to the above mentioned It's a Small World, Dumbo and Pirates (my son loves this ride too, suprisingly), I would also suggest the Story Book Whale ride, the merry-go-round and maybe a couple of things in Toon Town.
  • Reese rides all the rides that don't have a height requirement. There's really only a few that she can't ride. her favorites are Peter Pan, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Small World, Pirates and the Haunted Mansion
  • There are tons of rides for little ones once they can sit up by themselves. All of the Fantasyland story book rides (etc. Alice, Snow White, Mr. Toad, etc.), Dumbo, Casey Jr., Small World, Rodger Rabbit, Autopia, Buzz, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Winnie the Pooh, Nemo, Monsters Inc, Bugs Life rides (except for Tuck & Roll Bumper Cars), etc. The only rides she won't be able to go on are the ones with height requirements (example: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, etc.). I would highly recommend watching the firework show. I think it is one of the best shows that Disney has had in a long time. Tink is back flying!
  • It's not a ride, but don't forget the Tiki Room.  Jake loves watching the show.
