Nail Salon in RB or Southwest Escondido

I know this is a strange request since everyone has a different way that they like their nails but I am looking for a new nail person. Any recs would be great. And if you happen to have a pic of your nails, hey I gotta try right, then that would be great too.

 TIA

  • I used to go to Prestige Nails on Carmel Mountain Rd. The one by yummy sushi in the Carmel Mountain Ranch Town Center. Everyone there was very good. They did my wedding nails so there are pics in my bio of how my hands looked then.

  • There are a ton of nail salons in Escondido- pretty much every strip mall has one.  I have 2 places that I go to- the nail salon in the Escondido Promenade by the old Mervyns and the one in the Vons shopping center off of Center City Pkwy and Felicita.  Most of the ones in Escondido are run by Vietnamese so you wont really find super chatty nail techs- they talk to each other but for the most part you can just veg out while getting a pedicure and enjoy the massage chair!

Just try out a few places until you find one that you like.

  • Alright well since I didnt get to much of a response for that why about in the Del Mar area? I work over there and can get them done on my lunch break. Places?

  • There is a great place in Solana Beach called ProfessioNails in the Solana Beach Towne Centre shopping area.  It's in the same section as CVS, Starbucks and Jamba Juice (next door to JJ).  I would ask for Jimmy or Kelly because I know there both fantastic with nails (you can go to anyone for a pedi)!  858-720-1534   The shopping center is on the West side of the I-5 and off of Lomas Santa Fe.  Here's a map  http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Solana+Beach&state=CA&address=673+San+Rodolfo+Drive&zipcode=92075
  • I've been going to Gina at Scripps Salon & Spa in Scripps Ranch for about 7 years now. She is AMAZING. No matter where I've lived- College Area, Downtown, La Jolla, and now Escondido- I've always made the drive. Her pink and whites last 4-5 weeks without needing a fill, her pedicures are long and amazing, and she gives a great manicure. I even had her do my nails for our wedding in Ireland a week in advance because I don't trust anyone else! :o)

I know just where that is. I often have to run to the bank over that way so I can for sure go on my lunch break! Thank you. Are Jimmy and Kelly up on the modern styles and technique? Thanks
