Anyone taking the FL Bar?

DH took it last July and has a giant pile of Barbri books that I keep nagging him to post online to sell. I figured I would offer them here, if anyone is interested. I am not sure what he is asking for them, but I can tell you there are 8 books and he is also including the outlines from the class. I am super tired of looking at them piled up in the living room, where I stuck them to remind him to get them on CL or wherever. Feel free to pm me or post here if you have any questions or are interested.

And on a different note, I am posting at 1am because I chugged a ginormous starbucks this evening not thinking that lots of caffeine= no sleep for pammies :(

Re: Anyone taking the FL Bar?

  • Just wanted to let you know my husband had a pretty good success getting rid of all his Barbri and class text books a few years ago on his law school message board.  Students are usually looking to get discounted text books and such since those things cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars.  Some of the things he gave away for free.

He had less success on Ebay, but managed to get rid of a couple that way as well.  I think the Barbri tapes went for a good amount on there.

He also donated some to law programs in local high schools.

It was amazing to see how much space getting rid of that stuff made! haha Good luck!

  • try posting on craigslist.  i sold mine for $500, but they were in perfect condition--no highlighting or markings whatsoever. the longer you wait, the harder it will be to sell them, as they become outdated.
