Pediatrician

Please recommend a pediatrician.  I am looking and have had a couple of suggestions from friends, but am looking for more opinions.

Thanks!!

Re: Pediatrician

  • Lansing Pediatric Associates has been great so far. We're using Dr. Israel--he was DH's as a child. A few people I work with go to that office as well--there are several doctors there. Dr. Israel has a great bedside manner and really takes his time when doing an examination. Also, the office has a lactation consultant so it's nice to have it all in one place.
  • I guess some contact info would be helpful! The office is on Lake Lansing Road across from Eastwood Town Center. Their # is 371-4712.
  • That's the one  keep hearing from my friends.  How far ahead of birth did you call to get set up with them?  I was guessing I should call soon:)  Nice things is, they are very close to my home.  Bonus on hte lactation consultant.

Do they have a website?  I tried searching for one.

    How is miss haley?

  • They don't have a website that I know of. We didn't do an interview ahead of time or anything because we knew we'd be pleased since DH had used them. But they told me they don't typically do interviews anyway, at least Dr. Israel doesn't.

I just told the hospital we'd be using them when I went in to have the baby. They have whichever doctor is on rounds see the baby in the hospital and then you go in to the office within 48 hours of being discharged for the first office visit. HTH!

PS - Haley is doing great. We're having her infant pictures taken today and we're really excited. We got her a cute little dress the other day; it's so fun because she's like my own personal barbie doll! You'll love having a girl!
