So, I went to South Beach and I stopped at Miami Ink. If any of you remember my old post about getting a tattoo and the description, I asked the price and they said $1000 -1200. Hell No!!
Anyway, I'm going to try to find my old post to find the recommended place in Greenville. I can't remember the name, but the posted had 2 tattoos from there and one was a beautiful flower on her foot.
Re: Tattoo Update
To be fair though, this is something you're going to wear for the rest of your life. How much was your wedding gown, veil, shoes, accessories, etc after alterations? And you probably only wore it a few hours.
I think I would have splurged myself... though I guess a "famous" tattoo parlor isn't necessarily better or worse than others...
But I'm biased, having a permanent marking on my body would be terrifying to me.
So I just talked to a friend with a tattoo and she agreed that was an ungodly amount to pay for a tattoo... so I stand corrected.
But I still think you should think of it as an investment though, since you will have it with you forever.
Yup that was me who posted that. Both were my best friend's tattoos (the one on her ribs was from Miami Ink).
The flower on the foot was from a place on Haywood Road, across the street from Chilis, in the same strip mall as Saskatoons. I'm not sure what the name of the place is.
Yeah, I knew it was too much based off of other people's responses before. I don't mind spending money for my tattoo, I just don't want to over spend. As far as Miami Ink, I don't really think they are that great of artists. It's just that the place is famous, so I don't mind.
Ama, thanks. I will check it out. Their artwork looked really nice.
