I thought the hysteria is over, but two incidents told me it is not:
--On the way back from Chicago, there were a ton Asian people in the security line at the airport wearing masks. I had to use all of my willpower to not launch into a fake coughing fit.
--I went to a meeting yesterday and they made me fill out a form asking if I'd been to Mexico in the last 7 days, if I had any flu-like symptoms, if a face-to-face meeting was necessary, etc.
Swine Flu Watch is still going strong.
Re: Swine flu
did his crazy wife make him take that many masks?
There is nothing wrong with being obvious.
Be fearless.
Especially since they don't protect against this particular strain of flu. D'oh!
Actually, that's not correct. If it's an N95 mask and it's worn correctly, it will filter out the virus. Problem is that the second you have to take it off, you're at risk again.
Thanks for the correction.
It's good to know there is a type of mask that will work to fend off the impending Aporkalypse!!!
(sorry you've been having to work so hard lately, that must really suck)
