Who watched Grey's last night? (Possible spoiler if you haven't seen, don't read!)
It was kind of blah until the very end...I wonder if what happened at the end is the end of the storyline or if they will pick back up at the beginning of next season and one of them will be ok???

I don't think Izzy will die, but that's JMO. As for George, according to Entertainment Weekly, it depends on whether or not he wants to renew his contract. At least he will have a storyline to come back to if he renews, and I don't want him to leave the show!
That same aritcle said he was going to be hurt in the finale, so once John Doe came in I knew it was George. So it kinda ruined the surprise for me, but it was still a good one!

They definitely left it open on purpose, so who knows. I am hoping that the introduction of the new character (the girl he saved) means that he will at least be in the first few episodes of the new season , because otherwise it was odd to have her be so attached to him.
I think Izzy is more likely to be gone, but it's a pretty screwed up thing to do to Alex's character. It's entirely possible they both will be okay, but I don't know if that is what Rimes is going for. It's hard to tell. ?
My guess is, they will both be back next season, but won't tell for how long. (either could easily die in the new season)
You have to to remember, when Meredith nearly drowned she hung out at that "other side" version of the hospital floor for a while-so that image of them at the elevator could mean anything .?
I am so with you on everythin you said. I tried not to read anything on the finale so that it would be good. I was kinda bored with it until the end. I had no idea that was George! I cried for 30 minutes while me and my MIL talked about it. Haha. I hope they are both back it just wouldn't seem like Grey's if they weren't.
Speaking of Meredith-- when Izzie's cancer friend was rushed into surgery they say her heart stopped and oxygen couldn't get to her brain. Wasn't Meredith's heart stopped a whole lot longer? Maybe I don't remember correctly, but it seems she shouldn't be functioning after that.
I want Izzie to live. George has been kind of blah this season. I hope Major Hunt stays as Christina's love interest. He's a sexy ginger. And Meredith and Derrick need to get officially married because a post-it is not a binding contract.
Yeah, I was not a fan of the post-it. Sweet but not enough. I guess if they would have gone to city hall though they wouldn't have found out it was George.
ditto. But over all I did like the episode, and still squalled. lol. Looking forward to next season.
