As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Anyone know how these "points" work?
Hey ladies, I was just wondering if any of you gals had figured out how these new points work? Like with the new message boards you see the persons name, their number of posts, their number of points, and their ranking like "newbie."
I was just wondering how points are calculated, because I've noticed it doesn't seem to correlate too closesly to the number of posts someone has made. Anyone have any ideas? And why are these "points" really necesssary?

I answered my own question by looking at Anni's post below... Sorry to take up space on the board for a question that has already been answered.
-The points system is based on several things: How many posts you make, how many replies you submit, how often you rate posts and your blog and photo gallery entries. Basically it reflects how active you are on The Nest. Once we see how the points are being distributed, we?ll post the exact values for different actions, but for now we?re just testing this new feature.
