what is your china pattern?
Re: what is your china pattern?
Wedgewood Oberon.
I am a china/plate freak too Kmex.
same as quizzle
I have 12 place settings of Lenox - Lace Couture

I have never used it and don't even have a table to seat 12 because our house doesn't have a formal dining room. Maybe one day I'll use it but I am sure it will continue to collect dust for a while longer. I do love it though and am glad that I have it.
I had to look it up. Mikasa Regina Platinum. I also purposefully chose a cheaper set so I would get a full set and not odds and ends. Plus I have a bunch of assorted antique pieces so I wanted something simple that wouldn't clash with my crazy victorian flowers.
We have this also....and I've never used it.
Kate Spade Noel Alabaster

THIS! I love it!
we didn't register, but don't have china at this point, just ikea plain rimless plates. I don't feel like I'm missing it because most of our entertaining is more casual bbq type stuff.
however, I'm definitly taking notes for when we move. Hopefully with a dining room I'll have more incentive for dinner parties.
?Nortake Crestwood Platinum with the Cobalt accent plates?
?
?
Wedgewood St. Moritz. I would have loved something like this because I love Jacobian patterns (the salad plate looks Jacobian to me) but DH thought those kinds of patterns were too floral. He wanted something with a bold blue/gold rim, but that wasn't my style. So we compromised with the St. Moritz (pic far below). The accent salad plate sold me - it has a more distict floral pattern and is almost square. Whereas the rest of the pattern is white-on-white embossed with platinum accent so it's very subtle. We use ours for special occasions, and nights when I go to the trouble of making a nice dinner (and Maddie is at Nana's... basically when I'm putting a lot of work into getting some nookie).

OMG I LOVE yours! I posted before looking through all the pics. Would you call that a Jacobian pattern? I just love it. DH was not on board with the floral, however.
PS - I saw your post on everyday where - the 70's pattern. My step-mom still uses those. She makes dinner every night (they might eat out twice a month, including fast food) and has served it on those plates since I can remember (she and my dad married in 78... so over 30 years at least!). When I handle my heavy fiestaware I sometimes miss her plates - they are very durable but easy on the wrists.

I have a sugar bowl and creamer in the cobalt platinum - a wedding gift that never made it to a wedding. Let me know if you are interested.
