Offensive Parenting Blog?
I stumbled onto this parenting blog and LMAO. A friend thought it was highly offensive. Just curious what others think...(my daughter has most of these things).

Re: Offensive Parenting Blog?
I wonder if this is by the same people who brought us "stuff white people like".

It's interesting- I'm just finishing reading Freakonomics and a lot of the book talks about race differences and parenting differences. A lot of what the authors' theories boil down to is that it's not so much race as it is socio-economic background and more whites than blacks hold higher socio-economic status. I wonder if the writers of this blog changed the name of it when they realized it's not really about white parents, it's about wealthy parents.
Because we're fancy like that.
It's a satire. If someone is finding it offensive, it's probably because a) it hits a little too close to home or b) they don't get the joke.
I think it's funny.
I don't find it offensive. My sister actually went to school with a Lemonjello and an Orangejello. My mom met a woman named Female and she learned that it was because the woman's mom thought that the hospital already named her child and actually she was looking at the gender. I think it is very funny.
