Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Bloggers - question?
woah - something freaky is going on w/ my blog views....i've gotten hundreds of views so far today (no, my blog is not nearly that popular) and the vast majority of the views are from referer "alpha.inventions.com". No clue what that is or how my blog was linked from there.
Anyone else have something funky going on with thier views?

yes, i get that too every once in a while. it's site that randomly pulls new posts from other blogs and puts them all in one place, and it's supposed to help people get new readers if they're looking for that--or at least that's my understanding. did you just post today?
it only happens every once in a while to me, and i'm a regular poster (5-7x per week). i'm not sure if there's a way to opt out, but i've never had any issues with it or weird comments or anything so i haven't bothered trying to find out.

I had that happen once from another site, freaked me out too.
The best was when I got linked by a bunch of religious websites. I think they saw praying in my title and linked without reading through it. LOL! What a surprise they got!
