  • From week 5 to about week 9 of my pregnancy, I experience exhaustion unlike anything I had ever felt before. I would get a full night's sleep, wake up the next day, and after 2 or 3 hours of activity, I needed a nap in order to continue functioning. It was awful! Anyway, I don't know if that's what you're feeling (pregnancy-related), or if it's just run-of-the-mill tiredness, but I just wanted to let you know that it gets better...a lot of people told me that starting in the 2nd tri I would feel a lot more energy, and I have already noticed the difference starting last week (even though I'm still in 1st tri). I still get sleepy more easily than I used to, but it's not that crazy exhaustion I felt before.
