As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Options for getting to downtown Chicago from Bloomingdale
I'm in Bloomingdale for work and am staying downtown for a few days to see the city.
What would y'all recommend as a means of getting downtown? I'll be going around noon on Thursday if that makes a difference.

If you can get to the el, that is one option, or you could take the metra. The el has several stops in the city so you could take it to the closest to the hotel. For the metra, depending on the line you'd either get into Union Station or Olgavly (sp?) from Bloomingdale, the metra stop in Roselle is the closest, and that line would take you to Union Station.

The Roselle station goes to Union Station. It's a 10 minute drive to Bloomingdale, depending where you'll be in Bdale. Roselle Metra is on Roselle Rd and Irving Park Rd. You'll be on the Milwaukee West line -- schedule can be found: http://metrarail.com/Sched/md_w/md_w.shtml
(Note Metra tickets are cash or check only, and cost more to buy on the train if there's an open ticket window at the station.)

OR you could drive to the Glen Ellyn Metra station.
I grew up in Bloomingdale and now live very close to you in VA!
