  • Well, you can always torture children with a trip to Yellowstone Park.   Or lots of outdoor hiking activities.

If she's living there, she probably knows where she likes to eat.

  • Take him down the Alpine Slide (Snow King ski area), take the tram up to the top of the mountain (out at Jackson Hole Village), take a trip to Jenny Lake Lodge & go through Teton National Park (& hopefully see some moose), white water rafting (I am not sure on the age cutoff but I recall going very young), rents some bikes, go horse back riding, take him to a Dude Ranch, there are a few museums to check out, fishing, hiking...that's all I can think of off-hand. They names may have changed since I haven't been there in about 5yrs.  But I spent my summers in Wyoming growing up & take my girls up there every summer (the Big Horns, not the Tetons though).  If you have any questions, page me on the Colorado board...I will do the best I can to help you.

  • They are buiding the Tram, so you can't take him up there.  The Alpine Slide is a good one-there is also a mini golf course right there.  Down the street there is a maze that is fun (you can even do it w/water guns).  Don't miss the Shoot Out-6:30 pm Mon-Sat.  You could take a rafting trip.  Lots of hiking-there are some short jaunts that would be appropriate for a younger child.  Take him up to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park to see the animals.  There is a great exhibit at Colter Bay.  Lots to do, lots to see.

Lunch-Sweetwater is great.  The Brew Pub is great.  Picas is good.  The Mangy Moose.  Dornans is great-it's up at Moose so it is a little drive.  You can't go wrong with Teton Pines.  If you want to spend a little more (but get an incredible meal) there is always the 4 Seasons.

     Hope this helps

  • The tram in Teton Village is still under construction, but you can still take the gondola almost to the top of the mtn.  If you're looking for a great lunch, try Couliour.  It's at the top of the gondola (9,600 ft).  The views and food are outstanding!
