Hi there. My husband and I are originally from NKY (Cincy really), and are moving back to Lexington as he gets off his active duty orders. We are looking for a place in Lexington because it just seems like the perfect place to settle and begin to think about starting our family. Currently, we are 7+ hours away and looking for homes online is really a challenge.
Does anyone have any realtor suggestions? We need someone who we could give our true wish list and they could do a lot of the background work for us. We plan to come home sometime in June to go through some properties and would like someone who could set up 10-12 viewings in a weekend.
Our budget is around $200K and our (my) wish list is a bit lengthy for that price point. Any direction would be much appreciated. I just cannot wait to move back home?. Thanks all in advance!
Re: Lexington Realtors
Welcome back!
We are still in the process of buying our first home (close on July 31). We worked with Jason Preece (jason@jasonpreece.com). He'll ask about your preferences and whatnot and put all that in to his MLS and send you e-mails about what's available and you just let him know which ones you're interested in and he'll set it all up. We had about 11 showings one day! I like most that he's not pushy at all. He'll give his opinion if you ask, but he "lets the house do the selling."
One of my friends recommended Shaun Ring (shaun@shaunring.com) when we were still looking for realtors. She said he worked with their odd hours and really enjoyed working with him.
