Need Photographer Please - Married 3 Years No Album
Girls I could really use some help and recomendations. My Photographer is "going out of business" and we STILL ,3 years and 7 months later do not have our albums. He has basically told us that he will give us a high quality CD/DVD with all of the pictures that we can take somewhere else to have the albums made. Mind you he has already been paid for our albums.
Anyhow, I could used any help in finding someone who makes amazing albums. I live down in Homestead and work in Coconut Grove. I would like to find someone in Miami.

wow that really suck!!! Im sorry to hear that youre going through this, is he at least giving you the money back for the albums that were already paid for?!?! wow... 3 years!!!??? thats insane!
Try photography by john paul www.johnpaulsoto.com they are based out of Kendall.
I would take the prints that you want and make your own photo album. When we got married, we got an album and we got 3 cds of the prints (without the watermark) and made albums for the parents. They loved them and the fact that we did it made them appreciate them more.

Make sure your photographer gives you a release that says you are free to print the images for personal use and ALSO ask for a release that says you are allowed to hire someone to make and print an album design for you if you decide to hire another photographer to do this.
I'm a photographer (no, I don't do album designs from other images, before you ask!!) and my contract says that my images may not be changed or manipulated in any way, so if for some reason a couple wanted to use someone else for an outside design/print I would have to agree to a release to allow them to have someone else edit the images for printing.
This is VERY important - even if he is going out of biz, the images are still copyright and you do not want to violate a copyright.
