Good morning.  I am new to Illinois and am in the process of having my teaching lisence tranfered.  I have a provisional but am required to take the APT.  I graduated in 2001 and have not taught since that time.  Can anyone give me any advise or where I could find a study guide.  I printed the one off of the Dept of Ed. wedpage.  I am a bit nervous about taking the test.  Thanks for your help.

The online study guide is probably the best one available. Anything else might be a little outdated. I wouldn't be too nervous about taking the test. Just remember that they're looking for THEIR idea of the best answer, not necessarily the best answer out there. If you take the practice tests, it'll give you a better idea of what I'm talking about. GL!

I would agree and look over the online practice test.  I would not want to do that again.  I'm sure once you actually take the test it will all come back to you and you'll be able to pick the "people pleasing" answer.  Good luck!
