Hey girl...I figured our post is getting pushed down, so I'm replying to your last post here. ![]()
I can't wait to see the house pics! I should have took before and after pics...but, didn't think about it at the time. =/ It WILL be all worth it in the end...you'll see! That was nice that the landlord gave you an extra few days...that definitely helps when you have to pack a whole apartment.
Thanks for the words of encouragement about the gym. So far so good. I already lost 4 lbs. (the first few always come off quickly when you reduce calories and start working out). Only a hundred more to go. lol Ok, not a hundred, but ENOUGH! *sigh* I'm doing ok tho'...I actually don't miss the junk food as much as I used to when I was dieting. I try to keep my mind off of food and do other things. So far I've been to the gym Sunday and yesterday and will be going back tomorrow (would have went today, but donated blood after work and they say you shouldn't exercise after doing that...for valid reasons of course lol...I don't want to pass out and fall off the treadmill...especially in front of all guys...my gym is 99% men lol). Anyway, enough of my rambling. I'll keep ya posted on the weight loss progress and you keep me up to date on the house progress. Did you find a new contractor yet?
P.S. No stressing over Sammi...he will adjust fine. ![]()
Re: *Lawby*
Hey hey! Thanks for bumping up!
Congrats on losing some weight already! You go girl! Just keep the momentum going and remember why you are doing it, and you should remain on track. All the times I have put effort into losing weight in the past have been successful. Once before heading home from college, I bought all new clothes in smaller size than what I was wearing and that was the motivating factor because girl I am budget conscious and refused to let all that money go down the drain. I lost the weight by jogging every day and eating a salad every day. But now the house is my new weightloss plan so I am good. LOL
I am taking before pics only because the D&R board on here provided some awesome inspiration and I figure one day I want to post my bio of my nest. Trust me it's gonna be a heck of a transformation. We are still searching for a new contractor. We did the upstairs ourselves but the downstairs, we are getting one, since it's a more serious project.
I hope we get to move this weekend. Thanks for relieving my anxiety about Sammi. I think he figures out that we are moving. Last night, he was a little upset. Poor baby. Awh. I am also thinking of boarding him (costs $20/night) at the vet so I might consider that, if we really dont move this weekend.
When we do meet up for that drink, trust me it will be well deserved! Hehehe

So far so good with the gym and dieting...I went to the gym 4 times this week and haven't cheated once on my diet.
That will all come to a crashing hault this weekend. lol Joey and I are going to Lancaster/Hershey for the weekend, but I do plan on having some self control...we'll see how well that works out. =/
Boarding Sammi for a few days while you move is a good idea. That way he won't be under your feet and won't be upset with all that's going on. I'm sure he will be ok either way tho'...so don't worry.
Ok, I still have laundry and packing to do for this weekend and it's 7pm. lol Nothing like waiting 'til the last minute. So, I hope you get everything you want to get accomplished done. Have a great weekend and I will talk to you soon.
ooh...I know that drink will be well deserved...I've been through this...I needed more than alcohol to get me through. lol
Hey! Are you back yet? How was your trip and were you able to practise self control on all those goodies?
I saw the board is starting a shred exercise thingy, sounds interesting but I have no time, and space to join in. so you all will be thin and sexy and I will just be tired. LOL
Sammi is at the basement of the new house, and loving it! Well until the thumping starts back again! Hehehe
We moved all out stuff to the basement of the new house and are crashing at MIL...so far so good.
I hope your furbabies behaved for you and Joey on you all's weekend out!
Talk to ya soon.

Hi...we got back on Monday! Lancaster/Hershey was very nice. Thankfully the weather held out.
Unfortunately I wasn't as good as I would have liked to be, but I definitely could have been worse. lol
I see they are doing the shred thing as well. That sounds too hard and I'm just too lazy. lol I'll stick to my 35 minute walk on the treadmill. hehe PLEASE girl...you're allowed to be tired after everything you guys are going through and you still look good!
I'm glad to hear Sammi is adjusting well to his new home! I'm sure he'll grow to love it more and more each day. Now that you guys have a bigger house you'll need to get him a brother or sister.
Thankfully the babies all behaved themselves while we were gone. My sis lives just around the corner from me, so she came by to feed them and clean their box...lucky her. hehe
So, your MIL isn't driving you crazy like you thought she would? That's a good thing! Hopefully you will be in your new house full time soon. Best wishes. I'll pray to the house gods that everything runs smoothly!
P.S. I think I will be planning the next GTG for sometime in June...I hope you can make this one. Let me know what would be a good weekend for you to possibly make it! Hope to see you soon...
