Anyone work as a bank teller?
I am thinking of finding a job as a teller once we get settled in next spring (hopefully!). I have heard that there are more local banks rather than national chains like BOA. I am currently working as a staff accountant/tax preparer so I like the idea of having more consistent hours. any thoughts or suggesstions?

Re: Anyone work as a bank teller?
I used to be an assistant manager at National City in Louisville, which included teller duties. Louisville does have quite a few larger banks (US Bank, National City, BB&T), but also lots of smaller banks. I also worked for an accounting firm and audited banks.
I would check out www.mycareernetwork.com. They usually have lots of bank and accounting jobs listed -- and most of them are in Louisville.
