Ring resizing - is this too much?

If you've had a ring re-sized recently - - is $70 for sizing a ring UP and re- rhodiuming it about the right price?

That sounds like a lot to me! But I havent had one done in a while so I dont know. Maybe call around and see if thats the average?

That doesn't sound bad to me. I just had one sized down for $40 - it was $30 for sizing only but we paid the extra $10 for a warranty.

I should add, my friend asked a jeweler yesterday about re-dipping her wedding and engagement and I think they said it would be $100.

I think that's reasonable for sizing up. I was thinking of doing it and expected that it would be much more than that.

I know at robbins bros. you can pay $100 for the life time of the ring, and get it re-dipped when ever. ?I get mine done twice a year. ?

We pay like $65 every time my rings are redipped, so this sounds like a good deal.
