Let's discuss bicyclists in the city...
They drive me crazy. I am sure if I was a biker, I'd do the same shiit, but what the hell are the biking laws in this city? Bikes fight for the right to share the road, but when driving laws are inconvenient for them, they act as pedestrians...running red lights, not stopping at stop signs, crossing intersections in the crosswalks.
I was at a 4-way stop once and it was my turn to go and this bike came out of nowhere and almost hit ME (I refuse to say I almost hit him, as it was my right of way). Shouldn't he had stopped at the stop sign too? Maybe laws are different here than they are in the South where I am from, can someone please explain it? Thanks
"I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind..."

I'm a bicyclist, and so is my DH. Our experience with the lovely people of Chicago has been that they are as$holes as far as driving is concerned. Bicyclists generally become aggressive because it is a mode of survival. They are used to having to deal with jerks who try to run them off the street or open doors when they are riding by.?
But yes, there are also bikers who are jerks. They are called seasonal bikers. They take their bikes out from May until September and then put them away. I despise the summer months as far as biking goes - they are extremely aggressive, poor riders, and terrible at following the rules of the road.?
