How has everyone been? How was the weekend? Or you all still off? I have to go in to work today, you know the grocery store never sleeps. I had a good weekend, Saturday I worked a short shift pushing carts as part of my manager training, which was tough but ok. Then we headed to my parents house and hung out with my sister who is back from college. Sunday was a party for my great-aunt, she is 85 this week. It was a lot of fun!

Re: Happy Monday
so far, so good! We looked at a few houses in a couple neighborhoods we like on Saturday, and then were pretty lazy because I honestly can't remember what we did
Sunday - watched the Indy 500, cleaned the house up, when to a couple furniture store to see if the deals were really that good, ate at a NASTY chinese restaurant and then camehome and made my fabulous loaded potato salad
Today - no work!!!! We're going to our friends pool and having a cook out
sorry i've been a little bit mia.
I am off today. I am a RN so I know what it's like to work Christmas while the entire family is at home opening presents. But lucky for me, I got today off.
This weekend my sis and her FI were in town but they left last night. We went out on Saturday night to celebrate our 25th. On Sunday I was sick and stayed in bed until about 4. Today DH and I are just chillin at home, watching TV, cleaning, doing laundry. Maybe we'll see Terminator today.
Carrie- How did house hunting go? Did you see anything you really loved?
Glad to see everyone is having a somewhat enjoyable Memorial Day weekend, Sorry to the ladies that had to work today
Friday night DH got to work ( I know, I say "got" like its a good thing, but it is, with all this rain we've had we weren't sure he was going to get to work, and he already was off on tuesday bc of the rain. So i was very thankful he worked Friday night. He worked 14 hrs which gave him a total of 38 hrs for the week, which is VERY good considering he didn't work at all on Tuesday)... so i went to Orlando and had sushi with my dad and some family.
Saturday DH came home and pretty much crashed. I cleaned cleaned cleaned cleaned until my heart was content. Then saturday night Dh and I went to the "MOOSE LODGE" with some friends of ours. WOW! That was quite the experience!! .....I have never seen anything like the Moose Lodge before. Wow! That is all I can say about that. I left around 11 but DH stayed w/ his friends until 1 he said. I have no idea what time he got home I crashed as soon as I got home.
Sunday I cleaned cleaned and cleaned some more. Then we had some friends over for a Memorial Day Cookout- We had it early so BIL could be there - he had to work today- .... then Sunday night at 1030pm we went over to a friends house and we all rode about 2 hrs down to Anna Maria Island to go fishing- I caught no fish =(, but our friend Sherry caught "my" red fish... Ya'll, I was so excited for her I was jumping up and down and screaming its a red fish, oh my gosh its a redfish!!!! we looked like a couple of 6 year olds at Disney world! But it was so exciting!! She also caught a Trout & Snook... YUM YUM, can't wait til this coming weekend when we can eat them!
Around 4am Sherry and I got in the truck and slept while our DHs kept on fishing. Then around 7am they woke us up and we walked over to the beach. We layed out and watched DHs fish some more.. We left around 12 and got home around 230! We had a great weekend!
There are two houses that I really like, but we're waiting to hear back from the Realtor to let us know if its a fair price, good resale, yadda-yadda-yadda
Its always fun to look
We had a really good weekend.?
Friday night we went to the drive in and met up with a couple of groups of friends there. We saw "Night at the Museum 2" (very funny!!) and "Star Trek" (which was pretty good even if you aren't a star trek fan)
Saturday we just hung out at home. we watched some movies on TV and got things ready for our trip.
Sunday we left at 7am ?to go to Boston. We hung out at the hotel with Rich's aunt and her boyfriend for a while until it was time to head over to Fenway. The game was pretty good. Halfway through the first inning there was a rain delay for about an hour. Thankfully we were under the deck above us so we didn't get wet. The Red Sox beat the Mets 12-5, which we weren't too happy about, but it was a fun game anyway! After the game we had dinner at a brewery place near Fenway. ?
Monday we had brunch at the hotel and then went downtown to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. We watched a few street performers, walked around near the water, enjoyed the beautiful sunny weather, and had a late lunch at an outdoor cafe. Then it was home in time for our Monday night poker game ( in which Rich came 3rd, and made some $).?
