Anyone watch last night? 

Wow.  They are acting like they absolutley hate each other.  It was really sad to watch.  As b*tchy as Kate is, I hate to hear of people getting divorced and families breaking up.  I hope they can work things out.

They need to take the show off the air for the kids.  Those kids are going to need so much therapy from having their lives showcased on tv since they were born.

Jon and Kate just don't want to give up the money that they get.  Kate gave an interview in People magazine where she says they can't stop because they need the money to take care of the kids.  They get 50k-75k per show.  Last season they did over 24 shows, plus they get six figures for speaking engagements plus all the product endorsements.  I don't think it needs to keep going on.

Maybe if they stop looking at their kids as paychecks they might be able to save their family.  OK rant over.

It was fantastic.  They are such a disaster but I don't feel the least bit sorry for them.  Did you hear Jon last night talk about "choices".....it's all about the choices people.....

I'm guilty. I watched the marathon pretty much all weekend and then the season premier last night. I just love their children.

I only saw the last 20 minutes of the show and it just sounded like Jon has already checked out of the relationship.

I've always enjoyed watching the show..but watching it last night was like a trainwreck. I feel so sorry for those kids. It's one thing to have their lives taped when everything was great and everyone was happy, but I think it's time to stop now. I know they get tons of money doing it, but they really don't need THAT much to survive. Jon & Kate are just being selfish by not stopping the show..it's going to mess up their children so badly!

I agree - they really need to end the show for the sake of their children. The 2 older girls are old enough to realize what is going on. They could get real jobs and live a normal life.

I think it is pretty interesting that he ended up giving up his career to stay home with the kids while she spawned a new career based solely on her notoriety from the show including penning books and speaking engagements.  He sounded bitter and resentful that he gave up his career last night and I can't say I blame him.  I don't really read him as one that is impressed with his celebrity status, money, the paparazzi following, etc. I recall her mentioning and pointing out the paparazzi last night on the show on multiple occassions and then mentioning it to the other moms at th party.  I can't recall him once ever making mention of it.  I read her as more of a money hungry, sucking up the fame fortune from her kids type.....

They are done.  Jon has checked out, he only mentioned his kids, not his marriage or Kate. Kate still mentions Jon but their body language speaks volumes.  I thought he looked depressed and gained weight.  I thought it was sad when she said it would probably be their last family photo.  As a child of divorce, it is very difficult to see your parents break up. I feel bad for the kids. 

Not really a Kate fan, but I felt bad for her.  At least she owned her behavior in past episodes. She has strength.

I watched the marathon, too! It's a shame how Kate truly controls every move that happens in that family. It appears as if she's the sole reason that they are still taping the show, which is ruining her marriage, and will eventually ruin her children. It's time to hang it up!

She grew up in a trailer park.  She got a taste of what she never had and got too greedy for it.
