clicky poll... did you watch J&K?

Re: clicky poll... did you watch J&K?

  • had to watch it... train wreck.... I feel bad for those kids... they are so cute.
  • I feel so horrible for the kids that their parents are acting like immature, money hungry fools and now they will probably grow up with divorced parents.

  • Special Snowflake - No, I just forgot. I was going to watch but I didn't care enough apparently to remember.
  • I watched and it was painful.  I feel awful for the children having to deal with that and quite obviously only seeing one parent at a time but having to deal with it all in front of the camera.

  • I wasn't around to watch...but if I catch it in a re-run...which I probably will, I'll watch it.

I just love how Kate goes on and on about how she can't stand the paparazzi and how she wishes people would leave her family alone.  Well, genius, here's a suggestion, take your family off television!  Duh!

  • I just watched the last half.

  • DH was watching it (saw it advertised somewhere else) and we turned it on for the trainwreck quality.  It's so sad that there are sooo many kids involved in the train wreck.

I missed it last night also, but I saw the new episode is on again tonight at 8pm.  I'm gonna try to catch it then.

  • The one thing that I could not stand was Kate acting as a martyr.  Like I am going to feel bad for her... I don't think that her intentions were to end up like this when she started the show but she could have done something about it a long time ago before it got to this point... If I knew DH was that unhappy with something that I had control over I would do my best to try to work it out.  She really makes me sick

  • I do not really follow it, but did they confirm a divorce?
  • I am so sad over this. They both keep talking about how they love their family and their kids, but I think the best thing they could really do for their kids is stop and think about how much they love each other...I wish they would stop trying to explain their actions in public and at least try to save their marriage. They have lots of footage to look back on of days when they were kinder and more affectionate to jog their memories (not to mention how they were unkind - but that would involve eating some serious humble pie for any of us to watch our foibles on tv).  When Kate teared up about how they used to think they'd be the couple with multiples that beat the odds, and that this might be their last family picture, she sounded so defeated.   There's more to caring for your family than just saying you'll put your kids first. Put your spouse first, listen to their pleas and their needs and it could go a long way for your whole family. Okay, stepping off soapbox.
  • I missed it. Want to see it, although I feel so horrible for the kids and wish this wasn't happening to the family. Kelly--good insight and you're absolutely correct!

If anyone hears about more reruns, let me know. I wasn't home at 8 tonight either!?

They didn't exactly come out and say it was for sure, but they didn't say it wasn't going to happen.  The "interviewer/camera guy/director" person asked them about where they were heading and they both just kinda sat there like deer in the headlights...

Kelly - I totally agree with your post about them needing to focus on each other instead of just saying they love their kids.  I thought the flashback clips of the kids' previous birthdays would have been enough for them to see how things used to be...especially the pre-show days.  I thought it was good to actually see some emotion from Kate about them "beating the odds"...now do something about it!
