Um...apartment suggestions?

Technically I don't belong on nest boards yet, but I was hoping for some suggestions on apartments in the Noblesville/Fishers area (near the highway).

Basically, every time I find something that seems good I go to apartmentratings.com and find 10 reviews that say the place is amazing and 10 more that say that the good reviews are planted by maintenance staff, and that the apartments are full of mouse poo and muggers.

Hence, I was hoping maybe some people could be give me some legitimate reccommendations of places they've lived.

If you don't want to post it, than please e-mail me at alsoknownas6 at yahoo.

Thank you.

Re: Um...apartment suggestions?

  • I've never lived there, but a good friend lived at Lantern Woods (? I think). It was at 116/Lantern Rd., right off I-65.  Some have garages, too.
  • We are renting in Carmel. If that's to far then ignore this. But it's really nice. my email is aseliga@hotmail.com. I dont' want to post on here where.

  • Ditto Lantern Woods. We have friends that have at one point lived there. We tried getting in there when we were building our house since it was highly recommended. Too bad they don't do short term leases.?

?It's off of I-69 in Fishers.

Our friends lived at Sunlake Apts in Fishers for 2 years and they were really nice. I never felt unsafe and they were by the nice YMCA. We would have moved there if something had been available when we needed a place.
  • Woods of Britton is off of 37 and 141st. It is technically Fishers, but seems like Noblesville. The apartments were nice and the area is growing. I believe there is a new strip mall across the street now with a couple of restaraunts and shops. There is also a putt-putt course nearby too. :)
  • I have friends that live in Sunblest on 116th street in Fishers, and they like it pretty well.  They are owned by the same people as Sunlake so they are similar I believe. I also suggest NOT looking at River Road Apts on 96th.
  • DH and I lived at Sunlake apartments for 2 years and it was very affordable and nice for being in Fishers. Britton Apartments that were suggested in previous posts are a bit on the pricey side. Sunblest is the same as Sunlake and about a minute away from eachother. One is directly off of 69 and the other you just have to curve around some roads to get to Sunblest. Hope this helps!

  • I highly recommend North Haven apts. on 96th and Grey(Carmel - but close to the highway). We're signing our 4th year lease this weekend.
  • Not sure if you're still looking or not... I currently live in Lake Castleton apartments, and it is pretty nice here. It's not in Fishers or Noblesville, but it is right off I-69 and 82nd St. It's a quiet, clean community, and the staff is very responsive to maintanence requests. The rent is very reasonable too.
