Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

The CA Prop 8 decision does not touch Domestic Partnerships.  Prop did not take away that right at all.  In fact that is what the proponents of Prop 8 were selling - that since we already have DPs we don't need marriage.  So CA DPs are left untouched.  HTHs.

    They won't.  For two reasons:

    1) This is about 'marriage' the word and the meaning they attach to it.

    2) DPs are for both gays and straights.  True, some states have outlawed them for both gays and straights and have chosen to just have traditional marriage.  However I don't see that ever holding water in CA.
