MY dh & I are heading to Missouri this July to visit some of his family. We are actually considering a move there. We are looking at SE Missouri, near Cape Girrardu (spelling???). I know you ladies are in St. Louis but I don't see another Missouri board... Can you rec some places we should def see while out there.

I am a small town girl so I am sure I would love it! Thanks for the info!!! We will definately check out the wineries & eat at Lamberts... I think I have seen that place on Food Network before.
Did you go to SEMO? I am considering the college when we move there to finish up my BA. Is it a good school?
oooh, oooh, I also went to SEMO! I got my BSBA there, and I loved it! DH, however, got a degree from there and did not like it so much. But it was largely attitude....its a good school to go to with a nice small school feel.
As for Cape...hit the downtown area! Broussards has awesome cajun food, Buckner has its own brewery and some great beers along with great food. Those are just the two coming to mind, but yes, downtown! Also, lots of neat little shops.
The mall is disappointing. Just a warning.
