1) I'm wearing a sweater that I've had since I was 18. Not only is it not really office-appropriate, but it should have been completely retired a loooong time ago. Its just so comfortable and perfect for a dreary rainy day.
2) We have a wedding to attend tonight and, as much as I love the couple, I'm mostly excited for the candy bar I've heard rumors of.
3) Between the wedding tonight, bridal shower tomorrow, and birthday Sunday, I'm starting to wish we had less friends. Its just too expensive.
Your turn!
Re: Friday Confessions
I'm jealous of your sweater - I'd like to wearing something like that right now too! What a gross day!! And that candy bar sounds fun!
1. I hope Cecilia's softball game tonight is cancelled for weather - she's been so busy this week, and I miss her.
2. I haven't swept our floors in ages, and dust bunnies abound. (I'm going to clean this weekend, I promise!!)
3. I bought the new Mandy Moore album this week, and I kind of love it

1. I wore jeans today. And am currently browsing for jobs, even though I know I'm not leaving here for at least a year.
2. My kitchen floor hasn't been cleaned in a month.
1) I haven't done any real work this week. I need to get my head focused at work.
2) Part of me wants to back out of being a BMs in my friend's wedding so I can switch my work event and thus get to go to the march on Washington in October.
3) The Prop 8 fiasco has left me with a real anger towards religion/the religious. Even though I know there are welcoming churches and members of the LGBT community have strong faiths, my skin crawls when I hear reverend or church. When I'm interacting with people of faith I feel that an attack on me is eminent. I didn't feel this way before.
1. I didn't take a shower today.
2. I am in a slightly dirty but very warm sweatshirt today.
3. I have worn jeans to school for 3 days in a row.
4. I don't feel bad since it is 63 degrees in my classroom because they are blowing outside air in to "protect" us from the swine flu! This would be ok if it was 70 out but since it is in the low 60s this is not fun.
5. I ate a piece of cake for breakfast!
1. I haven't posted anything since I got back from vacation 2 weeks ago.
2. I had a brownie for breakfast.
3. I hate being in school, and I'm an eled major... Think I'll stop hating school once I'm the teacher?
1. I had Chic-fil-a for breakfast and dinner last night.
2. My children ate McDonalds for breakfast yesterday and Chic-fil-a for dinner (but did do a lot of excersise at Gymboree and the Chic-fil-a play area so maybe that helps!?!?!?)
3. I have a lot of work to do and have done nothing but search for nannies/check various message boards/shop on Amazon all week.
4. I find diapers/pull-ups so much easier, less messy, and faster than this potty business.
5. I really want to take a solo vacation - no wife, no kids. Just me. It'll never happen.
1. I'm jealous of all you ladies wearing sweatshirts... its supposed to get up to 80 here today so I'm wearing a t-shirt. But it is freezing in my office right now and I just want to be curled up in something comfy.
2. There are three of us in the office today, three! That makes it very very hard to find energy to get anything done.
3. I've eaten lunch out for the past two days and am considering doing it again today. Trav would be annoyed if he knew (those lunches add up!), but I just don't want any of the things I have here to eat. And I have been so damn hungry lately!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

Ditto this!
I had such a great time when I went to China on my own... I didn't have to worry about what someone else wanted to do, or if they were having fun. But I'm sure that will never happen again.

1. I haven't exercised at all since the beginning of the last tww.
2. I am seriously considering trying to vacuum our dog (she is a Shar Pei/ German Shepherd mix and she is blowing her coat right now, so there are little piles of fur all over the house).
3. I tried to talk my wife into calling in to work and staying home with me today (it is my day off). Unfortunately it didn't work.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. I feel like I should post more on this board.
2. I started reading The Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy for Lesbians (and taking notes) last night
3. I'm having a friend in to work for lunch and treating it like a client lunch.
4. I didn't run my 3 miles last night...sat on the couch in my workout clothes and watched TV instead...and feel guilty about it.
5. Am glad the weekend is already here again.
1. Sometimes I go look at real estate and appartments in San Diego even though I know we won't be going back for a couple of years
2. I am so excited about the release of New Moon that I think I may explode with anticipation before Nov. 20th
3. If my wife wasn't such a social butterfly busy-body I would always be home on the couch watching movies or surfing the web in my sweats.
1. LMC's behavior is so bad that the thought of keeping her scares me almost as much as the thought of her going back.
2. I watch reruns of Desperate Housewives everyday hoping some "Bree" rubs off on me.
3.All I want to eat these days is ice cream.
4.More than ever I want a chance to TTC a bio child and I feel guilty about that.
Go for it! My mom used to vaccuum our Shepard/Husky mix, and the dog actually loved it! It helped too.
Love it!

1) I read a blog this morning that made me want to cry at work.
2) We are going to Raging Waters for a benefit next weekend and a couple of my coworkers are going, I'm afraid of what they will think of me in a bikini.
3) I'm SO relieved that DW and I finally admitted to each other that we aren't financially ready to start TTC. We are waiting until August or September so I can finish paying off my credit cards.
4) Yesterday I broke the last hook on my favorite work slacks...
Time to start working out again.
5) I don't want DD to go to her fathers house this weekend, I'm feeling like he isn't taking her diet seriously. (She has Acid Reflux that requires her to be on a limited diet 90% of the time)
6) I'm so happy this was a 4 day work week, I don't like coming to work anymore.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
1. I only nanny two days a week, but I'm exhausted today. I feel guilty about it.
2. Julie has been more supportive of me than I could ever ask for, and I haven't been showing her enough appreciation.
3. I also tried to get Julie to call in sick so she could be with me today. I miss her. Her response before she kissed me, and went out the door " Oh, Babes, one of us has to be responisble". I chuckled, her sarcasm kills me.
4. I want to move back home to Iowa, more than anything. It's not going to happen, but I often consider applying to the University there so we'd have a reason to.
5. I love having a non shedding dog.
Try it!!
My parents had a German Shepherd that would shed like a mofo... so they would have to vacuum all the time. One day when they were vacuuming, she came over to investigate, so they ran it down her back (with the fabric attachment)... she LOVED it! From then on, whenever the vacuum came out she would come running, ready for her "massage."

Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
1) i only have a little over an hour left to work this week, and half an hour of that will be at practice for graduation. i'm still ready to go now.
2) we have so much to do this weekend i don't even know where to start.
3) i just checked the tracking on the diaper bag i ordered, and it says it was delivered at 1:00. i can't wait to get home and open it up!
4) i just realized that i can't go home and open it up because i'm meeting my sister at the gym after work. poo.
1. I'm addicted to the package of vegan trail mix cookies I got a trader joes yesterday. They may not last the night.
2. C and I have certificates to join the gym, that we need to activate and start using. We've had them for months.
3. We've been having relationship issues, but they seem to be on the mend and I think we're going to try to find a counselor to see together too.
4. I haven't started any of my final papers (4 papers approximately 40 pages), they're all due in a week and a half.
1) I can't figure out if I'm the least productive person in my office/group (and therefore could be fired at any moment), or if everyone is as bad as me (and therefore I have nothing to worry about).?
2) I've had an ice cream cone from McDonald's for the last two days in a row. I have also skipped my workout for the last two days in a row.
3) Jen and I travel solo frequently because we each need to see our families (hers lives 1,000 miles away and mine live 3,000 miles away) because we usually can't afford for both of us to go, and I hate it. I'm glad we at least spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together but we're hardly ever together for the 4th of July or New Year's.
4) We're having a "re-wedding" in July to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and the new recognition-of-other-states'-gay-marriage law in DC, which is expected to go through in early July. I feel indulgent and a little guilty but also super excited about cupcakes and a new dress. (It's just at our house, not a formal thing. But will be fun
)?
Wow, 5 years already! That's great! Please share pictures of you guys in your pretty duds afterward. :-)
