Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

House Update
we bought a house! it's a 1950's cape, 1500 sq ft w/ full basement, 3-4 beds (there is one unfinished) currently 1 bath (we will be adding another), all hardwood floors, the kitchen is way outdated, it will be our first "project" I already have the granit tile for the new counter and hubs is picking out his dishwasher.
We're set to close on July 1st, which kind of sucks since we're going to Alaska on July 2nd, but it will all work out. My MIL is already desinging window treatments (she's an interior decorator) and my FIL is pricing a new furnace (he does HVAC) now if we only had a landscaper in the family, there is a HUGE tree in the back yard that has to go.

Congrats!! I want to give you one of those jumping up and down because you're so excited hugs!
I can't wait to see before & after pics! It sounds like a great home, though, and once you guys have it done, it'll be amazing, I'm sure!
