restaurants.com - NE1 use in Indy?

Hi ladies, I'm debating using restaurants.com for a gift certificate, but I don't know if I can "stack" multiple certs in one visit (i.e. purchasing $150 for Shula's is 3 different certificates).

Has anyone used restaurants.com for local restaurants?

Thanks! E

Move along, nothing to see here.....

Re: restaurants.com - NE1 use in Indy?

  • I have when they were doing a $25 certificate for $2.  You can usually only do 1 certificate per visit, but I didn't notice that until after I bought a couple certificates for each restaurant.  Regardless it is a good deal, just make sure to read the fine print.  Most of them you have to spend a certain amount or go for only dinner.
  • Shonda, Thanks! I figured there was fine print, but I didn't know if anyone has had any issues yet. I'm considering doing a cert. so we can go somewhere nice for my birthday while I'm jobless and on a budget :)

  • I'm jobless as well so I feel you.  Like I said, they are still a good deal when you can get a cert for $2 so I'm glad I have them, I just have to make sure to use them within a year.  Some of the more casual places you only have to spend $35, so we can go out to eat and only spend $10 plus tip of our money.  We have used one at Damon's already an did not have any problems.
