Dead animal disposal
I have tried 6 times now and can't get on to Multnomah county's animal control website. We have a dead 'possum under our porch. Can we put this in our weekly garbage pick up or do we have to take it somewhere to be disposed. All I can find on line is articles fro '07 and '08 about how the county wants to cut the program and won't pay for dead animal pick up. I just don't know what the current policy is. TIA
(of course this thing has to die in the middle of our heat wave. YUCK!)

Don't tell anyone, but we have put them in our regular garbage... (tied up in trash bags). Our dog is quite the opossum hunter. so we really should know the correct thing to do with it.
