I didn't realize there are areas over the ocean where there is no radar signal so air traffic controllers don't even know where a plane is at times.  that's insane to me.

They found pieces of airplane in the ocean, but can't confirm it's from that flight yet.  So horribly sad.

I heard this, too.  I hope they find something, I can't imagine not being able to get closure for the families.
