My Exciting News!
No, I am not pregnant haha. BUT, I am starting on my master's in July! I have been debating what I am going to do with my life career wise after my current job, since we are planning on moving next year.
I have my bachelor's in education and I currently work for a non-profit that prepares public HS students for entry into the workforce and post secondary education. So, I started looking into going into secondary school counseling. I found a program that is geared toward working adults where if I bust a$$ and focus for the next year, I will be finished by next December.
I registered for classes this morning, so there is no turning back now! I just hope I will be able to find a job when I am done. Hopefully my connections through my entire family of teachers up in N. Jersey will help when we move.
Just had to share. I have been thinking about doing this for about a year now and I just can't believe I am actually going to go for it...

Congrats!!! Going back to school is really great... I'm still debating whether I want to start a PhD program soon or wait it out a bit... More debt freaks me out, though, so I think I'm gonna wait.

Congrats and good luck. Doing school part time and work full time is hard, but I think it's so worth it. Plus, right now is a great time to do it b/c you don't have any little kiddies running around
