Afternoon tea or brunch?

Looking for a quaint place to host a bridal shower? I was looking in to afternoon tea at the Raymond but heard tea there wasn't great :(

Anyone have any suggestions...I'm looking for options under $25-20 per person..doens't have to be tea though. Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Afternoon tea or brunch?

  • How about the Rose Garden Tea Room at Huntington Library?

    I think it's $25 per person.

  • The only thing about the Huntington is you do pay $25 person for tea but you also have to pay $20 person to enter the gardens, so that can get pricey.  I have been to a shower at Chado Tea Room on 3rd Street near The Grove.  I think it's less than $20 per person before tip/tax/etc.

  • My baby shower was held at the Chado on fair Oaks in Pasadena. It turned out really nice. Also, there's the Scarlet on Green in Pasadena.
  • The Huntington is actually $32 per person..kinda pricey with the added entrance fee as well.

    Thanks for the ideas :)

  • i think scarlet tea room is overpriced and overrated.

i highly recommend four seasons tea parlor in sierra madre. ?it's really cute, the food is good, and the price is right in your budget.?
