Attorney recs needed.

We need to get a will made up.  We keep putting it off and it needs to be done SOON!  I would hate for my kids to end up in the wrong hands (meaning - ILs) if something were to happen to us.  Can anyone recommend an attorney for this?  I don't want to do one of those online things being that we have kids now.  I want to make sure all of this gets done right.  TIA!!!

  • Hey, you should talk to the attorney I'm using to take care of my mom's estate. ?So far, he/they have been incredible. ?I still have a lot of work to do with them, but they have made it really easy so far. ?His name is Eric Mashburn.

  • my husband does wills at his practice.  I will PM you his info
  • Thanks ladies!  I will definitely give those recs a call.  Brian wants to use some legalzoom website since it is $100, as opposed to $700, but I would really rather sit down with someone and make sure that everything is spelled out the way I want it.

So if anyone has anything bad to say about the legalzoom thing (or good, I guess) feel free...

  • Whoa! $700?? If you ever get quoted that for a Will, walk away!!!
  • Check out what you get for $100.  I am licensed here in Florida as well.  For that much it may include Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate and even trust documents (to help pay for the children's care and education should something happen to you and your husband).
